Fees, Billing, and Insurance

Prior to the first session, please check with your insurance company in order to establish eligibility, determine copays, and preauthorization needs. Unless otherwise scheduled, sessions are 55-minutes long. Sessions going over 55-minutes will be charged an extended session fee of $30 per 15-minute increment. Insurance companies no longer cover extended sessions, so these require private payment.

Individual or parent sessions are $180 for 55-minute sessions.

For other services, such as school or home visits, extended phone conversations, or report writing, you will be charged pro-rated amount based on the hourly (55-minute) fee.

Your health insurance may cover some or all of your fees for psychological services. Again, please check with your insurance company on the specific details of your coverage. Co-pays and co-insurance fees are due at time of service. If your insurance company refuses to pay for services rendered, you are responsible for providing payment.

I am currently considered in-network with the following providers:

  • Regence Blue Shield

  • Premera Blue Cross

  • LifeWise of Washington

Cancellations or Missed Appointments

Any changes or cancellations to appointments must be made by phone or email (preferred) with 48-hour notice. Appointments cancelled within the 48-hour window will be charged a $90 fee. Appointments cancelled within 24-hours, or a missed appointment ("no-show") will be billed the full appointment fee.
